The future is a European Federation
The European Union and its predecessors have given us Europeans an unprecedented peace, freedom and democracy. From being a continent solving disputes on battlefields, they are solved today at a negotiating table. But the European Union today has a complex architecture that is difficult to understand and unable to solve the challenges facing Europe today and in the future. It causes distrust, dissatisfaction and misunderstanding among Europe’s citizens. Therefore, the future requires a more clear architecture that simplifies the Union’s rule and makes it more democratically legitimized with Europe’s citizens. We believe in a European federation with clear divisions between national and shared responsibility, ruled by democratically-elected representatives of Europe’s citizens for European citizens. Read more about us and why federalism is the option for the future.
